This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Nope, not dead yet, even if it may seem that way as far as my activity goes here on dA. Even though I don't really have any way to upload things, I've been working on different things here and there. I just have to find a way to document those things before I upload them.
Thankfully, I just got word about my computer; I'm getting it back tomorrow. I hope all the files are all right, and SolidWorks and GW2 is intact. I've wanted to practice some 3D work, and it's pretty annoying to have to sit through and miss three-ish entire major patches on the game just because my Mac is rubbish for gaming.
I guess what I'm trying to say here is, even though it's been quiet online for me, I'm not slacking off 100%. But I might be playing a lot of GW2 to catch up on an entire month and a half of not being able to play, hurr. That and editing my resumé and portfolio for business matters.
A Question
So I've been wondering, does it annoy anyone when I upload work that features predominantly Chinese writing/themes?
I dunno, I feel like I'm alienating a lot of folk here when I upload things like that. I…well, just hear me out. I suppose I'm just trying to get in touch with my roots, and practice writing so I don't forget what little I've picked up already. You know what they say; if you don't practice it, you lose it. I'm not too keen on the idea of letting my language knowledge die on me, especially since I put actual heartfelt effort into it.
Wut.
Maybe better suited for #Radio-Video, but heh, I just had to share this. It's on Facebook, so I'm not sure if you have to be logged in or not to see it.
Excuse me while I crawl under my desk and cry forever. I still can't paint to save my life if it depended on it. FFFFF. So much for that art school education. I know, I wasn't a Fine Arts Painting major, but still.
Music Feature: Megadeth + Black Sabbath
Looks like both bands have new releases this summer. As far as Black Sabbath goes, it's pretty exciting, seeing as it's almost the original lineup doing it (well, sans drummer Bill Ward).
Is it just me, or does the vocal melody sound uncannily like Black Sabbath's Children of the Grave? Regardless if it does or not, it's a good song.
Oooh, they've got the old sound back, as far as I can tell. Nice. I can't wait to check out the rest of the album.
