† Technology Hates Me †

...So therefore, there won't be any traditional art from me anytime soon. My laptop's hard drive is about dead [it refused to boot a bunch of times and when it does, it takes tenfold as long as usual to merely respond to mouse clicks]. Now, that means my scanner's pretty much dead- it only works with PCs, and that laptop was the only PC that works at my house.



On top of that, it means no Photoshop-on-the-go for me. Seeing as I'm still up in New York for a week or so, I think I'm going to go insane without it. I've already gone a month without it, and by the time I got back from that, I only had two measly days to work on a bit of digital art. Ugh. I'm sick of having Photoshop withdrawal, and I really did bring my Wacom Tablet on vacation with me for nothing [thanks for crashing and burning, you stupid laptop].



I wanted to take the hard drive into the shop to see what's wrong with it [and hopefully have a chance to save my artwork and a handful of rather important files], but my dad said it's much too expensive to do that.

† New York City †

I'm back in the city for a week or so. Sadly, I'm covered in bug bites [at least on my limbs and face- I reckon around 20+ itchy bites]. I hate that so much. No matter how many times we tell the neighbors to get rid of their buckets of water for their garden [they invented hoses for a reason, durhur], they ignore us. I guess they're too stupid to realize mosquitoes breed in stagnant water?



Anyhow, I got to visit a bunch of old friends and some relatives. I'd say my highlight so far was actually lurking around Coney Island. I finally got to ride the Cyclone coaster [historic roller coaster in Astroland], and that was pretty sweet. It was expensive, though [$8.00 for one ride], but it was fun doing it right after sunset. The walk down the boardwalk was lovely, too. The weather is nice here- not too hot for summer.



Edit: No, no one beat my legs with a baseball bat [though I might have had it coming anyways somehow]. It just looks that way. You see, what happened was when I was going back to the apartment, I had just gotten out of the subway. I was rushing down the stairs, and I think I had probably missed a step. I tripped and fell down the flight of metal stairs.



So far, most of the damage looks to be on my legs, especially my left leg. I whacked my shoulder where I landed, but it doesn't really hurt much [and thankfully, I didn't hit my head or neck]. I don't think there's anything broken, but there's bruises everywhere. The other marks on my legs? Those were those afore-mentioned mosquito bites. After I scratch those stupid things, they turn into blackish looking brusie-like marks, and there's a ton of them all over my legs and feet.



On the bright side, I did get to pick up a decent looking Wakizashi out in Chinatown today. It's pretty cool. I had quite a bit of fun hanging out in Manhattan all day.

† Commissions Information †

<sub>I'm finally in the mood to do art commissions! Here's my terms and conditions for commissions-

† I have the right to refuse, delay, or cancel a commission for any reason, including but not limited to: lack of time, artist's block, and lack of supplies.

† I am willing to do most anything requested, so long as it is not fan-art of copyrighted material [I don't think that's commissionable material for the most part.] and nudity and sexual references. I am willing to make gory and bloody art.

† Try to make the requested art reasonable, the work in my gallery is generally the types of artwork I focus on. For example, I probably won't do any animal photography or something like that.

† I work in traditional media [colored pencil, oil paint, acrylic paint, pastel, pencil, and ink], textiles [plushies and accessories], and digital media [Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Adobe Illustrator CS3, basic Flash animation].

† I will not pay shipping and handling fees, that is up to the commissioner to pay after I find out the cost of shipping said piece. I do not have the funding to pay said fees.

† Prices will depend on the complexity of the artwork and the size of the artwork. Colored work will, of course, cost more than black and white work. I do not have set prices, the commissioner and I will haggle and settle on a fair price for any artwork commissioned.

† Artwork will take time to finish; I have school and other work to deal with first.

† Payment should be sent as cash or check to me [I don't have online money-service things and I probably can't mess with that until I'm older]; I will send the address and other payment information via Notes.

† Artwork will not be sent until payment is received.</sub>

I know this is a lot of information, but I need things kept orderly to make it work out.
